Evenin'! Again, apologies for the delay. I had to book it out of work last Friday before I could get this posted due to meeting the electrician at my house for some faulty wiring. The joys of home ownership. Unfortunately, because I had training all day today, I was unable to complete a newsletter capturing the weekend's events, nor will I be able to report on this week's events due to attending training in Oshkosh the remainder of the week. 🫠 So, hopefully this edition gets you through till next Monday!

12:16 a.m. – While on patrol and conducting a check of the business located in the S6400 block of Racine Ave., an officer happened upon a male subject sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot…after business hours. Contact was made with the 50 year old Milwaukeean who lo and behold held a valid warrant through the Stallis P.D. A personal recognizance bond in lieu of payment was acceptable, so he signed that instead of forking over the money. Better show up to court! Oh, and your license is revoked. Citation issued. Stop driving.
10:55 a.m. – A 76 year old resident of Gray Fox Trail called the police department to report receiving a phone call from a subject claiming to be with a credit card company out of the Lone Star State. The credit card rep told our complainant that she was going to be arrested for fraud in Texas if she didn’t listen to and comply with the rep’s demands. Come and get me! The fraudster quickly became frustrated when our complainant refused to provide the requested information and eventually gave up.
3:37 p.m. – A 44 year old resident of the W17000 block of Briargate Lane called the police department and requested an officer respond to speak with a few yoots that were fishing at the nearby, private pond. Are there even fish in there??? It is private property, and my guess is they don’t live there. They were described as being loud and using profane language. She had attempted resolving the issue herself to no avail and was now looking for reinforcements. An officer responded, but the yoots were GOA.
3:57 p.m. – An 80 year old resident of the S6900 block of Sherwood Circle called the police department via her landline to report her inability to find her cell phone, believing it had been stolen. An officer responded. A quick search lead to the cellular device being located in the caller’s bathroom. No theft. Happy to help :)
4:23 p.m. – A 60 year old resident of the W18200 block of Parker Dr. responded to the police department to report several Halloween decorations were stolen from her yard. She noticed them missing earlier that morning and recalled last seeing them on Friday, 10/02, around 9 p.m. Ghosts, it was ghosts. The decorations were described as heavy duty, but fake tombstones (6). She did not want to file a formal complaint, and there was no surveillance to go off of, so the theft was reported for informational purposes only.
5:28 p.m. – A 39 year old resident of the W15400 block of Heinrich Dr. called the police department to report nearly striking two yoots on miniature motorcycles while turning onto Heinrich Dr. from Thode Dr. The complainant stated this is an on-going issue, has video proof to back it up, and has spoken to the yoots’ parents, however it continues to be an issue. Not only was she fearful of accidentally striking them with her vehicle, but she was also fearful they may hit one of her children. Contact was made at the yoots’ residence. The officer spoke with 44 year old mom, who stated our complainant had been harassing her ever since she called the police department and reported the complainant’s children were running around outside in their birthday suits. Mom was open to the officer’s suggestion of some mediation between the two parties. When this was suggested to the complainant, she refused and was upset that we apparently care more about her naked children than her miniature motorcycle complaints. I would beg to differ, and you’re the one refusing mediation. She insinuated that she would be contacting Child Protective Services because she wasn’t getting anywhere with us. You do that. I find that ironic, as she has a history with CPS.
5:57 p.m. – An open line 9-1-1 phone call was received. The call was generated by a suspected vehicle crash. Two subjects could be heard arguing in the background. The call plotted to the intersection of Thornapple Trail and Racine Ave., so that’s where responding officers went. The crash was located, but determined to have occurred in New Berlin. Their department responded and took over the investigation that lead to one driver being arrested for OWI.
7:12 p.m. – A 69 year old resident of the W14800 block of Westcot Dr. responded to the police department to report his 57 year old roommate was physically threatening him and he wasn’t sure what to do about it. Kick him out? An officer was summoned. Investigation revealed there was nothing criminal in nature about the situation, just heated disagreements between two men living together. The roommate was contacted and advised of the complaints. Maybe get your own places?
7:55 p.m. – Officers and TCFD were dispatched to a residence in the W17800 block of St. Leonard’s Ct. for the report of a structure fire. Flames and smoke were observed from second story windows upon arrival. Multiple fire agencies from surrounding communities responded to assist. Flames were eventually extinguished, but the damage was done. The source is unknown as the investigation is on-going. We thank the other fire departments for their response and kudos to TCFD for the quick work.

1:28 a.m. – Neighbor troubles in the S8300 block of Providence Way. Two residents in the lower unit called the police department to report excessive noise coming from the resident in the upper. “It sounds like she’s dropping or rolling something on the floor.” Contact was attempted with the 20 year old upper unit resident to no avail. Got quiet all of a sudden, eh? The lower unit residents indicated this is an on-going issue and believe she’s doing it on purpose at this point. That’ll be tough to tell, especially if we can’t talk with her and the noise isn’t occurring when we get there.
8:43 a.m. – A DPW employee called the police department to report a suspicious vehicle parked in a camper stall at Denoon Park. Why suspicious? Well, it didn’t have a trailer, it didn’t have a registration plate, and the VIN was covered. An officer responded. The vehicle owner, a 30 year old Burlington resident, was located. He indicated being in the process of registering the vehicle. Well, we’re in the process of telling you that you can’t drive it until you do. It was parked, so he was told to uncover the VIN prior to the officer clearing.
2:57 p.m. – A resident on Foxboro Circle called the police department to report the smoke from a neighbor’s bonfire on Audrey Ct. was bothersome and would like something done about it. An officer responded. There was no ordinance violation, so the keeper of the flame was advised of the complaint and the officer left.
7:57 p.m. – Officers and TCFD/paramedics responded to the intersection of Moorland Rd. and Sandalwood Dr. for the report of a single vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist. Minor, non-life threatening injuries were reported. Luckily, the 16 year old Muskego resident was wearing a helmet. The victim was transported to an area medical facility for treatment. Crash report completed.
Wednesday, 10/07/26
9:00 a.m. – A resident on Gaulke Dr. is apparently having issues with coyotes on his property. I’ll take one off your hands if it promises to start lowering the rabbit population on mine. He had already called the DNR. He was advised that he could use a bow or a sh***un, as long as it was 100 yards from a building, city street, or county highway. Traps work too. Happy hunting!
10:47 a.m. – Officers responded to a unit in the S8400 block of Racine Ave. for the report of a domestic altercation between an aunt and a niece. Aunt, who resides in Muskego, reported being attacked by 23 year old niece who lives in Stallis, multiple times. Aunt indicated she had locked herself in her unit and niece was supposedly wondering around somewhere outside. She was never located by responding officers, however. Phone contact was attempted several times with the niece to no avail. Further investigation revealed the altercation was more so some door slamming as opposed to things actually getting physical. Investigation continuing.
4:12 p.m. – A 71 year old resident of the S7200 block of Richdorf Dr. called the police department to report someone used vulgarities when addressing her 44 year old son. Why didn’t your son just call then? Apparently, a 78 year old resident of Cameron Ct. took exception to son’s driving while his wife walked their dog down the middle of the road. An officer responded and spoke with both parties, who were advised to mind their p’s and q’s and stay away from one another.
4:26 p.m. – A 46 year old resident of the S7100 block of Parkland Dr. called the police department to report his mother in law was in the front yard of his residence, speaking to his children, after apparently being told she was no longer allowed on the property. She reportedly called police on him back in June. So, you’re saying your relationship is less than ideal? Sounds stereotypical to me. I've got a good one, though. An officer responded, but the 67 year old Hales Corners resident was GOA. The restraining order our caller thought was in place does not exist and he was advised as such.
5:41 p.m. – A 40 year old resident of the W17500 block of Scenic Dr. has been trespassed from an establishment in the W18200 block of Martin Dr. This occurring on the heals of him being suspected of trespassing at multiple properties and otherwise acting really shady with the soon to be ex.
10:05 p.m. – A 31 year old Muskego resident called the police department to report observing what he felt was a suspicious vehicle parked at Bluhm Park. The caller had seen this vehicle at Bluhm Park in the past, as well as driving slowly through the area and didn’t like it. An officer responded and located the black, transit van, occupied by a 69 year old Franklin resident who had stopped in the park to walk his dog. Well, the park is closed. He left.
Thursday, 10/08/26
6:42 a.m. – Officers and TCFD paramedics responded to a business located in the W16800 block of Janesville Rd. after a 3rd party called and expressed their concern for the subject’s welfare. Prior to officers’ arrival, an employee called the police department and confirmed the subject was in fact at the business. I’m being very non-descript for a reason. Ultimately, the subject was transported to an area medical facility for treatment. No issues reported were life threatening.
Parents of high school students: if you drop your kiddo off in the morning at the east entrance, then are forced to turn right/southbound out of the parking lot, please stop using the intersection of Racine Ave. and Cardinal Dr. as a place to essentially conduct a U-turn. We’ve had several close calls. If you’re going to use Cardinal Dr. as a means to turn around, please pull all of the way into the subdivision, use your turn signal, and make a legal turn. Thanks!
10:44 a.m. – A 40 year old resident of the S9200 block of Boxhorn Dr. called the police department to report his neighbors’ music was constantly played throughout the day and at a volume that was less than pleasant. An officer responded and made contact with the 58 year old music lover who was advised of the complaint and agreed to lower the sound.
5:25 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to a residence in the S7300 block of Quietwood Dr. after the female homeowner called to report her husband was inside the residence and extremely intoxicated. She had called earlier in the day when he was reportedly stumbling around outside due to his level of inebriation, but was now calling back out of concern for his aggressive behavior. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female party who was primarily concerned that husband may try to get in his car and drive somewhere. His vehicle was ultimately moved to a safe location. She was educated on a 3-party petition being an option to hopefully get husband some help. Best of luck.
5:55 p.m. – A 61 year old resident called the police department to report the neighbors’ dog would run the fence line between their house and his and act like it wanted to rip his face off every time he tried to line trim or cut the grass. An officer responded and spoke with the dog owners who agreed to work with our caller on keeping the dog indoors when he’s outside working. That’d be nice. Not sure why that wasn’t the reaction when he reportedly first approached you.
7:34 p.m. – An employee of the aforementioned establishment in the W18200 block of Martin Dr. responded to the police department to report having a singular ignition key for his vehicle stolen while it was parked in the business’ lot, sometime in Sept. This too is believed to be in connection with the other goings on reference the 40 year old Scenic Dr. resident. Originally, the complainant had not connected the key’s disappearance to anything other than possibly misplacing them, but now with everything else that has happened…investigation continuing.
9:37 p.m. – Officers responded to a residence in the W14500 block of Catalina Dr. to which we’ve been to many a time for the 45 year old son that resided there. Mom called the police department, concerned, due to father and son arguing about son being back at the residence and bringing his lady friend and a “vicious” dog with him. Mom and dad are not particularly fond of son being at the residence due to past drug use. Upon arrival, officers made contact with son. Ultimately, girlfriend left and son stayed put. I’m not sure if she took the dog with her though. We would ultimately return 3 days later and arrest son on a plethora of drug charges. Not the first time.
