🚧 Road Closure - Crocker Road

Crocker Road will be closed today at the intersection of Brickyard Road and Maple Island for culvert replacement work.

Please plan an alternate route and use caution around the work zone while crews complete the repairs.

MCRC crews are in several Fruitport subdivisions today performing dura patch work.

Dura Patching uses hot asphalt and stone to fill cracks and road deformities in the pavement, repairing problem areas before they deteriorate further. With our freeze-thaw cycles approaching, addressing these areas now helps limit water intrusion and reduce the potential for additional cracking and potholes.

🚧 Evanston Bridge Update!

The main section of the culvert arch has been assembled and placed on its footings.

The contractor is now assembling the headwalls and wing walls, with backfilling expected this week. Road reconstruction is anticipated to begin next week.

Crews from five road commissions tested their winter driving skills in Genesee County during an annual snowplow rodeo.

Progress continues on Ryerson Road Bridge!

The bridge structure is now complete, including the bridge deck, concrete approaches and railings. The contractor has also finished installing the storm sewer on both sides of the bridge.

Crews are now working to rebuild the roadway leading up to the new bridge, bringing the project closer to the finish line.
