Muskogee County Conservation District The Muskogee County Conservation District is a local subdivision of state government.

The main goal of
the district is to provide services to land users in protecting and conserving natural resources.

The Muskogee County Conservation District would like you to know.
The Amended Emergency Drought Program ED4 State Cost Share Program will open up for Sign-ups on October 5, 2026 @ 8:30 am and close on October 30th @ 4:00 pm. The Oklahoma Drought Commission made the decision to Expire All Unfunded Alternates at 12:00 am on October 4, 2026. That makes Alternates open to make application again with all other producers. This Program is a first come first serve sign-up.
If there are funds left over from the original sign-up in our county those funds will be rolled into this Amended sign-up.
The Program pays 80% cost share not to exceed $7500.
It you were fully paid during the first sign-up then you are not eligible to sign up again.
Pond Cleanout will still need to be done by December 31, 2026
Water well, watering facility, pumping plant, pipeline, pasture taps will need to be finished before July 1, 2027.

Please join us Saturday, September 26, 2026, beginning at 8 a.m. at the office at 26114 State Hwy 51, Wagoner, OK 74467. Come learn about NRCS and Conservation District programs! RanchWorx Pasture Aerators and Varner Pasture Spraying will be giving demonstrations. Lunch will be provided.
