Our Jewish Student Club held its first meeting this morning! Rabbi Yoseph Moaty, a director and program leader at Chabad of Myrtle Beach, introduced students to the traditional Jewish art of Hebrew writing. Students practiced forming Hebrew letters using turkey-feather quills and ink, learning about a centuries-old tradition still used by Jewish scribes.
The Jewish Student Club is open to ALL MBMS students interested in learning about Jewish culture, traditions, and daily life.
Meeting Information:
When: Every Thursday at 7:45 a.m.
Who: All MBMS students are welcome!
Permission: A signed parent/guardian permission slip is required to participate.
We are excited to provide our Seahawks with another opportunity to explore different cultures, build connections, and broaden their understanding of the world!
Go Seahawks!

Today is Hispanic Heritage Day and MBMS celebrates! One third of our students have Hispanic heritage from countries such as Mexico, Columbia, Ecuador, Portugal, Honduras, and Spain - we love all of our students but today we give a little extra love to these special groups of people!

Last night, our football team experienced its first loss of the season against Ocean Bay.
Great teams take responsibility, learn from their mistakes, and get back to work. Next week, we face St. James in a big game, and our team has an opportunity to show what they’re made of. Seahawk supporters, this is where you come in! When you see our football players today and throughout the week, encourage them! Let them know you believe in them and that our school stands behind them. A little encouragement can make a big difference. Remember, we don’t just support our Seahawks when they’re winning. We support them because they’re OUR Seahawks!
