ECHO’s vision is that every individual and family that is literally homeless or at risk of becoming homeless is rapidly re-housed or sustained in current housing. ECHO’s mission therefore is to plan, develop, and implement strategies and action plans to resolve the housing crises experienced by these individuals and families. Through collaboration with Member Agencies, Partners, Federal, State and Local Government Agencies, and Faith Based Organizations ECHO is able to provide a comprehensive approach to the issue of homelessness.

đź’™ A huge thank you to the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System for bringing their Mobile Medical Unit to NardMoor!

Their team provided flu shots and primary care services to veterans eligible for VA health care, helping make essential care more accessible right here at NardMoor.

We’re grateful for their partnership and for the care they provide to our veterans! 🇺🇸💙

💙 Our Veterans Team has been busy! 🇺🇸

Our Outreach Team recently attended the Veteran Stand Down in Charleston, they also joined Housing Case Managers at the Myrtle Beach Veteran Stand Down.

These events are great opportunities to connect with fellow service providers, strengthen community partnerships, and reach veterans who may need housing assistance and support.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to help connect our veterans with the resources they need to find and maintain safe, stable housing! 🏡💙

đź’™ Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Housing Huddle!

We loved connecting with our community, sharing more about ECHO, and discussing the growing housing challenges facing individuals and families in our area. The reality is urgent: ECHO cannot help people find housing fast enough to meet the need, and the gap between the need for safe, stable homes and the resources available continues to grow.

Imagine how much stronger our community could be if businesses, community leaders, nonprofits, churches, elected officials, and neighbors all came together to be part of the solution. Because everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home, and our community cannot afford to wait. 🏡💙

A special shout-out to Winna's Kitchen Kitchen for generously providing delicious pastries for our gathering! 🍪

Sometimes, “How are you doing?” can be the most important question we ask.

Our Veteran Outreach Team was honored to be part of Veteran Buddy Week event hosted at Central Carolina Technical College, a meaningful event centered around connection, reconnection, wellness, and resources for veterans and student veterans.

The week was a reminder that support doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with a conversation, a familiar face, a new connection, or simply knowing that someone cares enough to check in.

Our team was grateful for the opportunity to connect with veterans, fellow service organizations, and community partners while sharing resources and learning from one another.

Check in. Reach out. Be a Buddy. 🇺🇸

A big thank you to the Myrtle Beach, SC Elks Lodge 1771 for their generous recent donation to ECHO! đź’™

Because of their support, we were able to purchase five bicycles for NardMoor residents to use, giving them a way to get around and access the community, as well as a stand mixer and electric can opener for the kitchen to make preparing meals a little easier.

It’s amazing what a community gift can make possible. These may seem like simple, everyday items, but they can make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of the veterans we serve.

Thank you, Myrtle Beach Elks Club, for investing in our residents and helping NardMoor create a more supportive place to call home. We are so grateful for your partnership! đź’™

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all. People recover in different ways, and every pathway that supports health, healing, and wellbeing deserves dignity and respect.
