Gators help us welcome our new school resource officer…. Officer Daly! Officer Daly is a former NYPD and Myrtle Beach PD officer, as well as a parent of his own three HCS students. He understands school safety and how important our relationship is between schools and law enforcement. He is already getting to know our kids and is fitting in great in the Swamp! We are happy to have him with us. Say hello when you see him!

One of our favorite days of the entire year…. Jersey Dedication Day! Our football players select a faculty or staff member who has made a difference in their life and they dedicate their jersey to them for the day! Come out tonight at 5:00pm to support this amazing group of young men! We have 8th grade parent night at 5:15pm and the game against Ten Oaks at 6:00pm at Socastee Stadium. Let’s go Gators! 🐊

Dear Forestbrook Community,

School report cards are out, and FMS earned a GOOD rating! The SC Department of Education issues school report cards, and the results reflect our students’ academic achievement and the school’s environment.

A rating of Good indicates that our school’s performance exceeds the criteria to ensure all students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate. A big factor in our rating was that academic achievement and student growth were both higher than they have been in years! Our students and teachers have worked so hard and it’s paying off!

We are so proud to share these results with you and appreciate the support of our community. Our best days are ahead as we continue to strive for “Destination: Excellence” this year and beyond!

Go Gators!
Mrs. Melissa Rutenberg, Principal
