๐จ Drill Instructor Time ๐จ
Okay, so this past weekend was incredible. Drill Instructor Sgt Navarette @, visited the future Marines from Nampa and Boise.
On Family Night, DI Sgt Navarette showed family members what recruits go through daily. Although it looked tiring, the family very much enjoyed the display of intensive training and the what it takes to be a Marine.
On Saturday, our future Marines conducted an IST. Following that, various Marines presented a few classes that aligned with the Corps commitment to their future.
Overall, these young Americans did amazing. I would like to give a shout out to Poolee Manzer and Poolee Mendive for performing at the highest level on the IST. Congratulations to all for an awesome performance. I am super proud of all you!

I would like to introduce to you all, Drill Instructor Sergeant Navarrette.
Sergeant Navarrette is originally from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. His MOS is 1833, Amphibious Assault Operator. Currently, Sergeant Navarrette Is a Drill Instructor with Golf Co. 2nd BN.
When asked about why he became a Marine, this was his response.
โI became a Marine to seek self improvement and to become a better leader. Courage is the most important value to me and because of the Marine Corps, I am more comfortable being outside out of my comfort zone.โ
