We loan durable medical equipment to local residents for up to six (6) months through our Local Loan Program, similar to how a library loans books. All our items are for temporary use, not long-term use. We are bridging the gap for those in need of short-term medical support until they can find a more permanent solution.
Forearm Crutches
Forearm crutches, also known as elbow crutches, provide support and stability for individuals with lower limb injuries or mobility issues. Unlike traditional crutches, forearm crutches feature a cuff that rests around the forearm, offering enhanced comfort and reducing strain on the hands and wrists. They are adjustable to accommodate various heights and provide a more ergonomic walking aid.

We gladly accept donations of these items! As a nonprofit organization, we are 95% funded by the generous contributions of our community members. Your donations enable us to continue helping those in need. 💙

Have you ever wondered what our volunteers do behind the scenes? Let’s take a closer look! 🔍
Once medical items are sorted and counted, our volunteers get to work packing supplies into boxes by category and expiration date—carefully creating a packing slip as they go. And our motto during this step? “Ship no air!”
That means every box is packed with purpose, making sure we fit as many usable supplies as possible into each shipment. If you love organizing or consider yourself a Tetris pro, this is the perfect volunteer role for you! 🎮📦

🌍 Another incredible update from the field! 💙
We recently received word from Operation International medical mission team returning from Kenya after a successful trip made possible in part through donated medical supplies.
With two surgical teams specializing in ENT and OMFS care and made up of 8 dedicated volunteers, they completed more than 40 surgeries and provided over 400 hours of training to local healthcare professionals—all in just 5 days.
Not only were lives impacted through direct patient care, but local medical staff also received valuable hands-on training that will continue benefiting their communities long after the team has returned home.
Thank you to everyone who donates supplies, gives financially, and volunteers with Hands of Hope Northwest. Your support helps make missions like this possible around the world. 🌎✨

Walker Platform Attachments
Walker platform attachments provide additional support for individuals who need extra stability while using a walker. These attachments are designed to hold the forearm or arm, reducing the weight borne by the hands and wrists. They are ideal for those with limited hand strength or wrist pain, offering improved comfort and mobility.

Canes (Single and Quad)
Canes are essential mobility aids for individuals who need extra support while walking. We offer both single-point and quad canes. Single-point canes provide stability with a single rubber tip and are ideal for users who need a light, supportive aid. Quad canes, with their four-point base, offer increased balance and support for those requiring extra stability.

🌍 Stories like this remind us why this work matters. 💙
We recently received an incredible update from Operation Hope Medical Missions after supporting their 2026 spring brigade to Honduras with surgical supplies.
Their team of 28 healthcare professionals traveled to Comayagua, Honduras, where they completed 89 free surgeries in gynecology and general surgery—including 32 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries—for patients who otherwise may never have access to this kind of care.
Many of the patients traveled 6–8 hours for treatment at San Benito José Medical Center, a mission hospital serving some of the poorest communities in the country. In Honduras, over 60% of the population lives below the poverty line, with many surviving on less than $1.90 a day.
The message they shared was full of gratitude—for the supplies, for the support, and most importantly for the hope these surgeries provide to patients and families.
None of this would be possible without our donors, volunteers, and community partners who help make shipments and medical aid like this possible. Thank you for helping extend compassionate care far beyond our walls. 🌎✨
