Fall is a beautiful time of year, but falling leaves often pose a problem for senior and disabled residents who are unable to rake fallen leaves on their property. The City of Nampa is seeking applications from both Nampa residents who require assistance and volunteer teams to rake for the annual Rake-Up Nampa event!

The Nampa community is invited to provide feedback on a new art installation currently under design to be installed at Lloyd Square in 2023.
On the front surface of each letter is a variety of words that consist of key figures, places and events representing Nampa’s culture and history. The design below is just a concept design to show what the sculpture will look like but the words that will be included have yes to be chosen. The community is invited to participate in a brief survey to help determine the list of words to send to the artist to include in the final design.

The Region X Office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is developing a Programmatic Agreement (PA) that will improve the efficiency of Section 106 review of HUD projects while fostering the protection of historic properties that might be affected by the projects. The PA will cover review of projects in all HUD programs- Housing, Healthcare, Public Housing, Community Planning and Development (CPD), Office of Native American Programs, and Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes. However, the PA will not apply to projects on tribal lands. States, units of general local governments, and tribes that serve as Responsible Entities may adopt the PA to expedite their reviews of HUD-assisted projects.
We would like to invite all interested parties and the public to provide feedback and participate in the development of this PA. The draft PA is now available for review at: https://www.hud.gov/states/shared/working/r10/programmatic_agreement
