Today is Lt. Brad Childers’ Alive Day — a powerful milestone that reflects bravery and resilience. When Lt. Childers shared his journey with our Leadership Nampa class, his story inspired and deeply touched everyone in the room. His courage continues to strengthen our community. 💙

Today we celebrate Lt. Brad Childers’ ALIVE DAY!
On this day in 2012, two Canyon County Deputies, Brad Childers and Mike Roth, were shot in the line of duty.
BOTH SURVIVED.
Brad is now a Nampa Police Lieutenant who helps oversee the patrol division and our K-9 Unit.
We love that we get to celebrate Brad’s survival and his service to Nampa. We are grateful he is part of the Nampa PD team, continuing to serve his community!
Although Mike is no longer in law enforcement, we are proud to recognize his service and sacrifice to Canyon County. Thank You, sir. We are proud to recognize you and Brad on this incredible day! We Will Never Forget.

The Leadership Nampa Class of 2023 experienced Legislative/Gowen Field Day this week. In addition to a fantastic leadership development session, the group engaged in candid conversations with Governor Brad Little, Senator Jeff Agenbroad, and our Idaho National Guard servicemen.

We are so grateful to these leaders for supporting the Chamber and this program. We'd also like to thank Kelly, the most incredible Capitol tour guide ever! It was a great day, and we look forward to what's coming next!

The Leadership Nampa class of 2022 completed Nampa Fire Day yesterday. Throughout the day, the class participated in Leadership Development Training, and various demos by the Nampa Fire Department and Canyon County Paramedics. They saw a 911 scenario play out, a burn cell demonstration, the ‘jaws of life’ in action, and more.
