It’s National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. We would like to share a tale about a Distracted Driving crash. This one happened a few months ago, but it applies today…
This vehicle and its driver crashed into a fence one afternoon, on SR-29, north of Yountville, in Napa County. Luckily, both the driver and his unsecured passenger were not injured. You see, this beautiful golden retriever jumped on the driver while driving. This caused the driver to veer off SR-29 and hit the fence. As much as we love our pets, they can be a big distraction while driving. There are plenty of pet securement devices available that will keep them safe in your vehicle or in a crash. Secure them as you would a person or child in your vehicle while driving.
