We are pleased to share the Napa County Office of Education’s 2026-2031 Strategic Plan, which was developed based on invaluable input from students, parents, school districts, other public agencies, community-based organizations, and from NCOE’s staff. The result is a plan focused on building and sustaining strong partnerships to provide the best possible education and support services for children and families.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, NCOE joins communities across the country in raising awareness, sharing trusted information, and honoring those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.

1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. But awareness is only the beginning. Learning about breast health and early detection can help turn awareness into meaningful action.

Throughout October, we’ll share resources and Voices of NCOE as our community comes together to Recognize. Support. Act.

Napa County Office of Education staff has been engaging with our community to celebrate and honor Hispanic Heritage Month.

📦 Care Kit Items: Staff donated care kit items to donate to local Latino families.

✉️ You Matter Cards: Students in our Expanded Learning program and our staff created “You Matter/Tu Importas” cards to include in the care kits.

🤝 Community Events: Staff supported two events in partnership with Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center, St. Helena Hospital Foundation and Cope Family Center providing food, flu shots and other health resources for local residents. We were also able to provide the donated care kits and new shoes.

NCOE is proud to honor the culture, history, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans through action and community support.

Napa County Superintendent of Schools Josh Schultz welcomed his fellow County Office Superintendents when Napa COE hosted the fall CA County Superintendents general membership meeting in our beautiful valley. We enjoyed showing off our facilities, including the student-centered Camille Creek Community School.

Thank you to St. Helena High’s Landscape Design class for the unique pumpkin and succulent centerpieces, local student Andi Maloney for her a capella performance of the National Anthem, and the varsity strings section of the Napa High Orchestra for performing for our guests.
