We are SO excited to announce that we completed our first Hands-Only CPR and AED training at Saint Apollinaris Catholic School!

We had a combined group of fifth and seventh graders, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. The students asked tons of thoughtful questions, were highly engaged, and really seemed to absorb the material.

A huge thank you to the staff and the Napa Fire Department, Via Heart Project, Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center, and Napa CERT for making it all come together!

Great job, kids! You should be proud of yourselves for learning skills that can help save a life someday! We can’t wait to see you again!

Another successful 2nd grade water safety lesson before summer at Browns Valley Elementary!

This marks our third year visiting these students to help teach the importance of staying safe around water during the summer months. Students also got an ambulance tour, which is always a favorite!

Have a great summer, kids, and remember the 6 water safety rules we covered today:

1️⃣Never swim alone!

2️⃣Stay out and stay safe!

3️⃣Throw, don’t go!

4️⃣Follow pool rules!

5️⃣Know how deep the water is…. if you don’t know, don’t go!

6️⃣Dress safe to stay safe!

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor all of those we have lost in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and it is an honor to continue serving our community in their memory.

We’d also like to recognize the AMR Honor Guard for opening the ceremonies at Oracle Park this weekend. A special shoutout to our very own paramedic, Christina Mottalei, for proudly participating as part of the color guard. Christina has dedicated many years to serving her community and representing AMR with honor, professionalism, and heart ❤️🤍💙

Today on National Stop the Bleed Day, GMR encourages everyone to get trained, speak up and help prepare their communities to respond confidently in a bleeding emergency. Even a few minutes of learning can make a lifesaving difference, whether you take a local training course or review basic bleeding control techniques at home.

In an emergency, remember the essentials of Stop the Bleed: Alert, Bleeding, Compress. Knowing these steps can empower anyone to take action when it matters most.
