Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Annual Exercise!

Today, CERT teams from across Napa County came together in American Canyon for our annual exercise!

Building a more resilient community starts with working together. The Napa County Office of Emergency Services (OES) manages the CERT volunteer program, helping build force multipliers through local volunteers that can support our communities when disaster strikes.

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Red Flag Warning for Napa County over the North Bay Interior Mountains due to gusty northerly winds and very dry overnight conditions which is in effect from today at 10 PM (10/15) to 11 AM Friday (10/16).

PG&E PUBLIC SAFETY POWER SHUTOFF (PSPS) – UPDATE

The Napa County Office of Emergency Services (OES) continues to closely monitor the Active Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) currently affecting 3,027 PG&E customers throughout Napa County. OES is aware of an unrelated outage impacting 153 customers in Berryessa Highlands that occurred this morning with restoration expected by 2:15 PM.

OES remains in constant communication with PG&E to receive updates on outage conditions, restoration timelines, and available community resources.

Full power restoration is currently anticipated by Saturday, October 17, 2026. Restoration times are subject to change based on weather conditions and safety inspections.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTERS (CRC)
PG&E continues to provide community resources at the following locations open from 8 – 10 PM:
• Calistoga Fairgrounds – Grab & Go bags
• Pacific Union College – Angwin
• Napa Elks Lodge – City of Napa

These locations are expected to continue providing services through Friday Night, October 16, unless power is restored sooner. Availability and operating hours are subject to change.

STAY INFORMED AND PREPARED
Residents are encouraged to continue preparing for extended power outages and to check PG&E's outage map for updates regarding their address.

The Napa County Office of Emergency Services (OES) has been notified by PG&E of potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) due to forecasted weather conditions.

Please refer to the attached map for areas that may experience power outages. Residents are encouraged to check PG&E's outage map to determine whether their address may be impacted.

Residents in potentially affected areas should prepare for a possible power outage. Power restoration is currently anticipated by October 17, 2026, depending on weather conditions and when PG&E determines it is safe to restore service. Restoration times are subject to change.

The Napa Sheriff’s Office has heard numerous reports from the community that ICE is conducting raids in the county. We have no information regarding ICE in Napa County and believe these reports were generated when plain clothes detectives, uniformed deputies from the American Canyon Police Department and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole Agents conducted parole searches. Numerous locations throughout Napa County were searched. Six people on gang probation and parole were arrested, charges included possession of narcotics, felon in possession of a fi***rm (photo below) and am******on, possession of gang indicia and outstanding warrants.

PGE PSPS Outage: Napa County Office of Emergency Services (OES) was informed of a potential power safety outage by PG&E. Napa County OES is working with all stakeholders to inform individuals, critical facilities, and vulnerable populations about the potential outage. PG&E customers have been notified via text, email, and automated phone call.
This outage will begin on 10/14/26 at approximately 9:00 PM (times and outage subject to change).

PG&E will be offering Community Resource Centers (CRC) opening at the following locations in Napa County.
10/14/26 from 5:30-10pm Napa Elks Lodge 2840 Socol Ave Napa, CA
10/14/26 from 5:30-10pm Pacific Union College Angwin, CA
