Cada día somos testigos de la resiliencia de las familias que llegan a nuestras oficinas y de aquellas que tenemos el privilegio de visitar en sus hogares. Aunque sus historias son diferentes, todas comparten una misma esperanza: brindarles un futuro mejor a sus hijos.

As Latine Heritage Month comes to an end, Cope wants to remind our community that celebrating and honoring the Latine community is something we do every day. ❤️

We celebrate the vibrant culture, traditions, and contributions that bring so much color to our country, as well as the dedication and hard work of families striving to build a brighter future for their children.

Every day, we witness the resilience of the families who walk through our doors and those we have the privilege of visiting in their homes. Their stories may be different, but they share a common hope: to create a better future for their children.

At Cope, we are honored to walk alongside these families, celebrate their strengths, and support them as they work toward their dreams, not just during Latine Heritage Month, but every day of the year.

Are you passionate about supporting children and strengthening families? Cope is now recruiting for a full-time Family Support Specialist to join our Home Visiting team!

In this role, you’ll build trusting relationships with families, provide in-home support, connect families with resources, and help parents feel confident as they navigate the early years of their child’s life.

If you have knowledge of child development and positive parenting strategies and experience building relationships with the families in your community, we want to hear from you!

Cope is proud to endorse Measure B, the Napa County Wildfire Preparedness, Watershed Protection and Open Space Preservation Act.

As an organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and strengthening families, we know children thrive when their communities are safe, healthy, and resilient. Wildfires pose a growing, devastating threat to Napa County families, disrupting homes, schools, and the stability children need to thrive, which is why supporting wildfire preparedness is directly tied to protecting families.

Measure B provides dedicated, locally controlled funding to reduce wildfire risk, safeguard our drinking water and watersheds, and preserve open space for future generations. Cope sees this as a natural extension of our mission, and we encourage our community to learn more about how Measure B supports the families we serve.

Families shouldn’t have to navigate the system alone to find the services and support they need. That's why we're proud to be part of the Family Services System Navigation Collaborative, which brings Napa County service providers together to make it easier for families with children prenatal through age 17 to connect with the right resources.

By strengthening connections between agencies, improving communication, identifying gaps and barriers, and listening to families’ experiences, the collaborative is building a more accessible, coordinated, and family-centered network of support.

Together, we’re working toward a community where every family is supported and can find the help they need. ✨💙

[Español abajo⬇️] Join us this Thursday for our September Parent Peer Support Group, "The Mask You Live In." 🎭

As a parent, you wear many masks. On the outside, it may look like you have it all together, while underneath, you may be carrying feelings, worries, expectations, and struggles that others never see. Join us for a meaningful and creative conversation and art project exploring the difference between who we show the world and what we carry inside.

Group will take place this Thursday, September 24th from 10am-12pm at Cope Family Center. For more information, please call 707.252.1123.

According to the CDC, adverse childhood experiences, including abuse, neglect, and household dysfunction, are among the strongest predictors of su***de risk later in life. If we want to prevent su***de, we cannot wait until adulthood, or even adolescence. We have to start with the earliest relationships a child has.

That's why so much of our work at Cope begins before a baby's first birthday, and often before birth. Postpartum depression affects roughly one in seven new mothers, and untreated maternal mental health struggles ripple outward, affecting bonding, child development and family stability.

Every parent who gets connected to mental health treatment, every family that builds a support network instead of facing isolation, every child who grows up in a safer, more stable home are the quiet, unglamorous wins that add up to fewer crises down the road.

Napa Valley has the chance to invest upstream, in the relationships and support systems that keep families whole before they break.
