Project HELP, Inc. We help victims become survivors. We help from victimization through prosecution.

Since 1986, Project Help, a non-profit agency, has been providing hope, empowerment and healing in Collier County by offering free and confidential services to all victims of crime. On February 19, we’re celebrating 40 years of showing up for survivors, supporting our community, and making sure no one has to face their hardest moments alone. And we want the businesses and community partners who believe in that mission to be part of this milestone. 🩷💿

For four decades, Project HELP has provided crisis intervention, advocacy, trauma-informed therapy, and support for survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, human trafficking, homicide, and other violent crimes.

In 2025 alone, we served 5,014 individuals, supported 1,887 ongoing clients, and answered 896 sexual assault HELPline calls. Behind every number is a real person who needed help, hope, and someone to turn to.

That’s why sponsorship matters. When you sponsor Be A Believer: Celebrating 40 Years of Impact, you’re doing more than supporting an event. You’re investing in the services survivors depend on and helping ensure our community has somewhere to turn when it matters most.

It could be someone you know: a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member. Together, we can help make sure support is there when they need it.

🎸 Join us for ’80s vibes, a live concert by Rock Republic, food stations, auctions, and a celebration of four decades of impact!

Healing begins with knowing you’re not alone. 💙

We’re grateful to the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation for investing $7,500 in Project HELP’s work with young survivors of sexual violence in Collier County. Through our Safe Futures initiative, this grant will help children and teens access compassionate care at no cost as they heal and build resilience.

Thank you for making this work possible and showing up for the youth in our community.

Sometimes taking care of your mental health looks like talking to someone. Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary, taking a break, asking for help, or simply giving yourself permission to not be okay.

Mental health affects how we experience the world, connect with others, and navigate difficult moments. And just like our physical health, it deserves attention before we reach a breaking point.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s make space for honest conversations, compassion, and support. There is no “right” time to ask for help, and you never have to have the perfect words to start the conversation.

Your mental health matters. 💚

During the current news cycle, conversations about sexual assault can bring up difficult emotions, memories, or questions for survivors and those who support them. 📰

Supporting survivors starts with compassion. Listen without judgment, respect their choices, believe their experiences, and give them space to heal in their own way.🩵

You can also make a difference beyond the conversation. Consider donating, volunteering, or getting involved with your local r**e crisis center to help ensure survivors have access to support when they need it most.

If the news is bringing up difficult emotions for you, you don’t have to navigate them alone. Support is available.

At Project HELP, each survivor who receives a forensic exam is provided with a care kit filled with thoughtful items meant to offer a little comfort during an incredibly difficult time. From cozy socks and tea to journals, self-care items, fidgets, Hope Bracelets, and more, every item is chosen with care.

We are incredibly grateful to the businesses, organizations, and community members who have donated items and helped us make these kits possible. Your generosity allows us to provide more than resources, it allows us to offer a small moment of comfort when it is needed most.

A special thank you to She's Birdie for donating 60 personal safety alarms to our kits. Your support means so much to the survivors we serve. 💙

Thank you to everyone who continues to show up for survivors and help us remind them: you are believed, you are supported, and you are not alone.

7 men. 7 hours. 5 essays. 2 expulsions. 0 criminal charges. 1 life still carries it.

But behind every number is a person whose life can be changed forever.

No charges does not mean no impact. One life still carries it.

If the recent news surrounding the Cornell case is bringing up difficult emotions or memories, you don’t have to navigate them alone. Project HELP is here to listen, support, and help you find the resources you need.
