It was a full house on the VME Morning News today as we celebrated students who earned a perfect score on last year’s FAST Progress Monitoring 3 assessment. VME had perfect scores represented on all 3 assessment types- ELA, Math, and Writing! This is quite the accomplishment, and we are SO PROUD of our Patriots! 🏆❤️🏅

Another fun, fall lesson today in 1st grade! Teachers and students read “The Humble Pie” and practiced retelling the steps to make apple pie.

It got even better when students were able to make their own pie following those important steps! 🍎🥧

Thank you Veterans Memorial Elementary PTO for donating the supplies to bring learning to life!

2nd grade students participated in an exciting and important fall lesson today! 🍁

After reading “Spookley the Square Pumpkin”, they each decorated a uniquely special pumpkin to reinforce the story’s theme that being different should be celebrated. Everyone has different strengths! 🧡

Thank you Veterans Memorial Elementary PTO for donating pumpkins for our amazing learners! 🎃
