Nashua gave a warm welcome today to Reverend Raphael Warnock, Chris Pappas, and Executive Council candidate Melanie4NH. Senator Warnock spoke powerfully about the stakes in November's election and the importance of Chris Pappas winning NH's senate race, turning the U.S. Senate blue, and putting the Trump administration in check. The pastor of the same church where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once ministered inspired us with his reminder that "it's not about the people in power. It's about the power of the people."

Join us in bringing our power to Nashua and beyond by volunteering ( https://tinyurl.com/35terj85 ), or by dropping by our monthly meeting at 19 Elm St. in Nashua this Thursday, 10/8--doors open at 6:30 and the meeting begins at 7. We can accomplish great things with your help!

* Kelly Ayotte raised health care costs, forcing working families to pay upwards of an additional $270 a month in new, excessive Medicaid premiums just to keep health care.
* Electricity costs have risen nearly 15% over the last year, and Ayotte has offered nothing but lip service.

Costly Kelly’s New Hampshire is one where families are working harder and harder, but keep falling further and further behind. Granite Staters can’t afford two more years of Costly Kelly. She’s too busy protecting her relationship with Donald Trump and corporate special interests instead of th...

Happy 173rd Birthday Nashua!

On June 27, 1853, the town of Nashville, north of the Nashua River, and the town of Nashua, south of the Nashua River would bury a 10-year squabble and join together as the City of Nashua NH.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, 1853, the city elected its first executives under the new city charter. Josephus Baldwin was elected the first Mayor.

Here is the first Nashua City Hall as seen in the early 1920's.

Happy Birthday, Nashua!
