Challenged A Nation - "We choose to go to the moon...and do the other things" said JFK "not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win". President Kennedy's example was one of showing we do not accept the status quo or shrink from obstacles but accept challenges and persevere to win. JFK knew pursuing hard tasks makes us stronger as a people and as a Nation. It is my honor to recall these words of our courageous President on this day when all those years ago I remember as a youth we lost our young President. - Larry Crim for U.S. Senate - For ALL Tennesseans Nov 22, 2015. .

Read The Nashvillian below on the 95 county tour of Tennessee by Larry Crim for U.S. Senate - For ALL Tennesseans, which keeps Crim "hugging the middle" down the center as Ned McWherter used to say. "Represent the people as they are..." said Larry Crim U.S. Senate 2018, which is the answer to Corker as indicated also by We're Tired of Alexander & Corker Vote Em Out

CRIM GOES THE DISTANCE - by Angie Alexander The Nashvillian. Larry Crim U.S. Senate R-TN 2018 - Your Voice For Americans toured 200,000 miles in 2 trucks and 1 car to talk with folks in 95 counties, going the distance in an epic tour to connect with Tennesseans. A candidate willing to pay the price to know and serve the people is a welcome sight. By contrast the elite Washington scene shows Senators secluded from people, dining with lobbyists, PACS and Companies. Crim offers a choice for regular citizens to be heard.

"REPRESENT THE PEOPLE AS THEY ARE"..."BE WITH PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE" - - Larry Crim U.S. Senate

” You’ll find Crim for Senate at parades, fairs, festivals, races, flea markets, ball games being available by traveling out to see the average citizens at their events in their communities.

Larry Crim is on the speaking tour at candidate and community forums. Yet, he prefers to "travel out" to engage the people where they are.

"Most people are never going to a special dinner or forum to meet candidates" said Crim.

Yet, they might happen to meet Larry Crim For U.S. Senate as he moves their direction.

BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER

In the Faith - based community Mr. Crim as CEO of Christian Counseling Centers of America is also an outreaching and unity building force hosting Interdenominational and InterFaith forums attracting public officials both Republican and Democrat to work together to help people.

STANDS WITH CITIZENS, VETERANS

Crim says V.A. Benefits are "our government's indebtedness to those who have paid with their sacrifice for our nation"; and Social Security is "Our nation's debt to those who paid all their lives for retirement.”

“FOR ALL TENNESSEANS”

The Crim U.S. Senate theme "For ALL Tennesseans" reveals his personable style, people outreach and inclusive understanding of all the people he seeks to represent. Crim seeks to bring a candidate-people connection approach to public service.

It is admirable and refreshing in an age of computer technology, social media, political strategists, talking point missionaries, ideological emissaries and political action committees that a candidate for United States Senate has emerged who prefers to talk with people.

CRIM PROMOTES PEOPLE ORIENTATION

Mr. Crim has the uniquely American concept of representative democracy which holds that public servants are supposed to "represent, not reform, the people". Larry Crim is aware of the limits of one voice in government. He wants to "help make government do some good" to "more reflect the consistent priorities of Americans" - an important achievable goal.

CRIM PROMOTES PRIORITIES OF PEOPLE

While leaders in his own party are "waiting on" or "pushing" "Tennesseans to change" , Mr. Crim seeks to represent Tennesseans "as they are" because "these are the people we have a chance to know and represent today" said Larry Crim for U.S. Senate.

As his "party connection with people" appeals have fallen on deaf ears at the out of step party of satisfied irrelevance, this has not stopped Larry Crim for United States Senate from pursuing his own campaign efforts to connect with Tennesseans or his creation of grass roots organizational options to the party.

This kind of political entrepreneurialism by Crim, however, does show that he is not satisfied with the status quo of reclusive politicians or exclusionary political organizations so that he does, in fact, seek change in political and other organizations so they begin to relate to and reflect the priorities of "all Tennesseans".

QUALIFIED LEADERSHIP FOR A NEW DIRECTION

Larry Crim is one of the most highly qualified candidates to bring new leadership. This is especially the case when one compares his qualifications and preparations for public service to those of Bob Corker.

LARRY CRIM: BIO IN BRIEF

Larry Crim, a native Nashvillian and 5th generation Tennessean, graduated from East Nashville High School; Graduated "magna cm laude" with a B.A. in Arts & Sciences from The University of Tennessee with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Political Science; earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from The University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University Joint Graduate Program in Public Administration; followed by achieving the Master of Arts (MA) with a Major in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Crim performed his Psychological Practicum at Vanberbilt InterUniversity Psychological and Counseling Center. Larry Crim is Chief Executive Officer of Christian Counseling Centers of America Inc. a Faith-based initiative administering professionally qualified spiritually based counseling through churches. Larry Crim is also President of Larry Crim MPA MA & Associates Management Consulting firm.

BOB CORKER...NATIVE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
QUIT COLLEGE TO RUN BUSINESS & FOR OFFICE

Bob Corker is a native of South Carolina who moved to and graduated from a High School in Tennessee. He studied Industrial Management at U.T. before quitting his limited academic foray to work in his own business.

Corker ran for U.S. Senate in 1994 and lost handily to Bill Frist, whose campaign manager referred to him as "pond scum". He was one of Don Sundquist's appointed team for a short time (1 year) and while in Nashville briefly considered a run for Mayor of Nashville until he likely read the Metro Charter requiring three (3) years residency at which time Corker returned to Chattanooga to again run for public office as Mayor, which he won over marginal opposition.

During Corker's tenure as Mayor of Chattanooga he was plagued with issues of alleged conduct of business while in the Mayor's Office, some questionable business dealings with a property land deal with Walmart and missing emails and public records sought in connection with that investigation. Corker became the subject of increased scrutiny as a result of pressuring and intervening in the VW and UAW negotiations in Chattanooga leading to a National Labor Relations Board Complaint.

CORKER FRUSTRATED

Bob Corker has indicated previously he is frustrated with the inability to get things done in Washington as a Senator and that he was considering running for President to see what more he could do in that higher office.

Many in Corker's own party are highly dissatisfied with his performance in office. Their protests are very largely based on his "disconnection" with the people who form the foundation of their party.

CRIM MOTIVATED

Larry Crim has been to all 95 counties of Tennessee traveling over 200,000 miles in two years to do so. Crim appears anything but frustrated, but motivated to continue the outreach just to get to the U.S. Senate "For ALL Tennesseans". LARRY CRIM ATTRACTING BIPARTISAN SUPPORT

We're Tired of Alexander & Corker Vote Em Out is a a bipartisan group of Republicans and Democrats demanding a new U.S. Senator from Tennessee and have endorsed Larry Crim U.S. Senate. Americans for Equal Educational Opportunity have awarded Crim with recognition for his lifelong dedication to advancing equality in educational institutions.

Republicans For CRIM U.S. Senate have endorsed Larry Crim over Corker based on his efforts to achieve common ground on the priorities of Americans.

"When we meet people on the campaign trail the focus is not on party affiliation but personal communication" said Larry Crim. "Parties have their place. But people need a voice. The common complaint I hear from thousands upon thousands of Tennesseans is that neither party is providing that voice in Washington. In a very real sense a party organization is not formed to provide that voice directly in our elective bodies in this Nation. It has to come from people relating to and elected by their fellow citizens That's what people tell me they want - someone who cares enough about them to come and talk with them and then seek to take their voice and speak for them in our nation's capitol." - - Larry Crim For U. S. Senate
