This is my friend who lost her son. She used to bring clothes, food, water, blankets, etc.

Please consider helping her to get a headstone for her son's grave.

If willing to donate even $1 or $2 or $5 or more, message me and I will give you her details of where to send donations...

Thanks Chris aka "Sam's" the formerly homeless person....

Apparently some from JSB have moved to the Hermitage Ave bridge.

Hopefully, I will not have to give anymore updates on JSB, but only time will tell.

So, any future help people want to give should be directed to the Hermitage Ave bridge....

JSB bridge is officially closed. Two years ago there were 186 people (and 4 portable bathrooms).

Now, it is empty. And why? Two reasons:. Metro closed it and one person housed everybody: Tiffany Ladd. She is responsible for housing more people (including me) than anyone else and that includes Metro Govt.

She is an absolute angel doing GOD'S work and she won't take credit for it, but I will call her out for all she has done.

JSB was a terrible place and a refuge at the same time. And Tiffany was there EVERY day despite the weather feeding us. Not Metro, but Tiffany.

While we did have 3 deaths while I was there for two years, there is no doubt that Tiffany saved many more lives.

Thank you Tiffany.

Goodbye JSB and RIP.

Sams the formerly unhoused person aka Chris.....

Jefferson Street Bridge Camp is closed....

Apparently Metro is trying to close JSB by Monday and "will arrest anyone still there on Monday."
Please call the council and report that it is a cruel time of year to close this camp

Supposed to sleet and snow starting tomorrow. If you have any cold weather items such as hats, gloves, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, and any and all firewood or scrap wood, please consider donating them down there.
Also, those single canister propane burners (and green propane canisters that you can get at Walmart) are literal life savers.
They do have some large propane tanks that I have been refilling but if you have any (like under a grill) that you are not using or can refill some of their tanks, there are a few places close by that do tank exchanges and they can fill anywhere from 15-20 small green canisters from just one tank refill.
Usually, depending on how cold it is, it takes 1-2 small green canisters to keep a person warm thru the night.
If you need more info, please do not hesitate to message me and ask..,.

If anyone has any connections or pull to please get a few portajohns down under the bridge it would greatly help the basic hygiene situation there.
Basic sanitation is really desperately needed there until the Metro Government finally decided to do something about the long tragic way they are basically ignoring a dramatically and ever growing homeless population in Nashville....
