Prayers and ways to support Americans impacted by the devastating tornadoes…

Our for fellow Americans in , and over a six state region from the tornadoes continue. In our and across America people want to help. This is an update on how fellow believers, and can help people & communities devastated by this .
First, continue in as a nation of believers dedicated to the principle - "In God We Trust".
Second, to protect yourself and others do NOT Self Deploy to any disaster zone. Emergency 🚨 First Responders are still searching for and rendering aid to victims. Utility crews are clearing debris to access roads, homes and reestablish power lines. EFR & public officials advise to stay clear to permit them to timely respond to continuing emergencies.
Third, coordinate with organized disaster relief ministries and agencies in your efforts to deliver aid to your fellow Americans.
You CAN help impacted Americans by offering Volunteer Support and/or Making Contributions including but not limited to the following:
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort Inc. (COCDRE) is a nationwide disaster aid delivery organization based here in Nashville at 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211. Tel: 615-833-0888. Volunteer Support may be scheduled to assist in packing, shipping, loading of food, water, beverages, clothing and other resources which will go to disaster area churches in the impacted regions. Shipment of supplies from the COCDRE is being delivered to the Seven Oaks Church of Christ in Mayfield, KY. , The Northside church of Christ in Mayfield, Central Church of Christ in Benton, KY, Mars Hill church in Bowling Green, KY & Church of Christ Princeton, KY and Lehman Ave church in Bowling Green. Each of these churches may accept on the ground volunteer assistance to help with delivery of aid and support to the people and communities impacted by the Tornadoes.
Mayfield Volunteers are headquartered at Seven Oaks and Northside churches in Mayfield Ky and are focused on supply distribution to victims in that immediate devastated community.
If you wish to join the Volunteers register in advance and await confirmation as to the date, time and place both of the locations to report to and arrangements for your stay so that preparations may be made before you depart & arrive at: churchesofchristdrt.org

First Christian Church in Mayfield (FCC), greatly impacted itself, is still ministering to members and the broader community during this challenging time. FCC welcomes donations to assist them recover and their ministry to continue helping others which can be made via their published link

Samaritan’s Purse, another humanitarian group headed by said it sent disaster response teams on Saturday to Mayfield, Kentucky, and Monette, Arkansas, while other teams started to head to the devastation in Tennessee and Illinois. The Salvation Army has set up a disaster relief fund for the tornado victims. It is also preparing to dispatch mobile kitchens that can serve 500 to 1,500 meals per day to the survivors and first responders in the affected areas. Donations can made to Salvation Army by calling 800-725-2769
Shelters are opening: If you or someone you know needs a safe place to go, Red Cross shelters will be available. Visit redcross.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). An app is at redcross.org/apps.
After a disaster, letting your family and friends know that you are safe and well can bring your loved ones great peace of mind. A Safe and Well website has been activated for the Tennessee Tornadoes. To register, go to SafeandWell.org
To assist Kentucky Victims you can make a donation to add resources to the public sector resource delivery system via a public relief fund Governor Beshear has established. Instructions are to designate any checks payable to "Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund." Send check to Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, 200 Mero Street, 5th Floor, Frankfort, KY 40622. Your tax-deductible donation will benefit the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund.
