Training and supervising volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in Nashville.

The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program came to Nashville in 1983 when it was established by the Junior League of Nashville and the local chapter of the National Council of Jewish Women. Together, these organizations provided start-up funding and formed the first steering committee. CASA Nashville was the first of 26 local CASA programs serving 45 counties across Tennessee. At CASA Nashville, we know how important safe spaces, caring adults, and enriching activities are for children during the summer months. We’re grateful for community partners like Nashville Public Library and Metro Parks Nashville that provide free and accessible programs for kids and families across our city. ☀️📚🌳

From summer reading and story times to camps, recreation, and creative activities, these resources help children stay connected, engaged, and supported all summer long.

As our fiscal year comes to a close, hundreds of children in foster care in our community still need someone to stand beside them. 💙

At CASA Nashville, volunteer advocates show up for children during some of the hardest moments of their lives, making sure they are heard, supported, and never forgotten.

Before July 1, you can help us continue this life-changing work. Your gift helps recruit, train, and support CASA advocates for children who need a caring adult.

Together, we can make sure more children have a consistent adult in their lives, advocating for their best interests.

May is Foster Care Awareness Month, a time to recognize the children and youth navigating foster care and the people who show up to support them. At CASA Nashville, our volunteer advocates provide consistent, one-on-one support for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their voices are heard in court and in the decisions that shape their lives.

As the school year ends and summer begins, many children lose access to the daily support systems schools provide. While things may appear to slow down, the need does not. Our advocates continue showing up, checking in, gathering information, and making sure no child is overlooked.

This month, you can make a difference. Become an advocate, give in support of our mission, or help spread awareness. Every child deserves someone who will stand beside them, especially when it matters most.
