754 people died by drug overdose in the Nashville area last year, making us the 2nd deadliest major metro in the country. It is long past time we elect city and state leaders who care about our mental health and access to treatment. Lives depend on it. I urge you to please go to the polls Thursday and choose those leaders:

Nashville metro had second-highest rate of overdose deaths in the U.S. in 2022, report says Davidson County had the highest rate of overdose deaths in the state, and second in the country when compared to metros over 500,000 people.

And I want you to please know that I did the very best I could.

My neighbor who immigrated here, got registered after I knocked on her door and cast the very first vote in her life for me, along with 543 others. Nothing could ever take that wonderful experience away from me.

Now, we must shift our focus to rallying behind our next Councilmember to help them build a brighter future for ALL Nashvillians. I love you all with all my heart, and thank you for this once in a lifetime experience.
