The Music City Community Court is celebrating 12 years and in the last 12 years, the Music City Community Court (MCCC) has assisted over 50,000 participants with its Specialty Courts and programming working towards preventative, diversionary and restorative justice because “Justice does NOT stop at the courthouse steps!” ®
The MCCC is the first and only Community Court in the State of TN. There are over 70 Community Court’s World wide, starting with Midtown Community Court, NY in 1993.
RESTORE RE-ENTRY Court for Returning Citizens= 19,551 participants
43 Saturday Dockets & Clinics since 2012, giving people easier access to justice
Court Cost Fines and Fees Waived by Federal Guidelines= $14,087,162.89 assisting people getting their records expunged and back on their feet
Community Service Work Hours= 6,599
Saving Tax payer $ = $146,289.78 with court ordered and volunteer hours keeping our community clean and free of liter
L.E.G.A.C.Y. Housing Diversionary Court & Program for Landlords and Tenants= 8,208 participants
Ordering Emergency Rental Payment of over $19,610,254.93 to landlords for tenant rent debt/arrearage during COVID-19 and Nationally recognized for our Eviction Diversion Initiatives (White House and MSNBC)
C.A.R.E. Diversionary Court for Ages 18-30= 26 participants
The FOLLOW UP POD CAST for Restorative Justice = 23,276 viewers
FUTURE Internship Program= 84 interns

Did you know, NOT ALL CRIMES misdemeanors or felonies charged on your record stop or prevent you from voting.
Please reach out to Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Attorney Keeda Haynes with Free Hearts and or the Davidson County Criminal Court Clerks Office to see if you still have your right to vote.
Secondly, if you have lost your voting rights, it’s time for you to work on getting them back. The time is now. We need every one to VOTE.
