Our April Employee of the Month is Behavioral Care Center Technician, Lori Dixon. She recently joined the Behavioral Care Center team and has quickly made a huge impact on how our team carries out our mission. She has seized opportunities to help make connections so that the residents could better access resources inside and outside of the facilities. Her creativity, compassion, and dedication to helping others is infectious.

Our April Officer of the Month is Sergeant Benjamin Dejongh. He was recognized for his outstanding efforts in contraband control throughout our agency. Through his keen observation and attention to detail, he helped prevent harmful substances from reaching other inmates. His proactive actions enhanced the safety and security of our jails and helped save lives.

⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Beware of a phone scam claiming to be from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO). Callers pose as DCSO employees, requesting payments via cryptocurrency, gift cards, or mobile apps. DCSO never asks for payments over the phone. Verify calls with DCSO or contact the Metro Nashville Police Department at 615-862-8600.
