Fire hall visit day for our current fire dispatch training class.

A few of these faces may look familiar — they’ve already been part of our team for some time, answering 911 calls and dispatching police incidents. Before moving into fire dispatch training, our team members spend time building experience in those disciplines first.

Thank you to all the halls who hosted us today. 🚒

Nashville and Davidson County are included in a Tornado WATCH issued by the National Weather Service Nashville until 5:00 AM CDT, Monday April 28, 2026.

A Tornado WATCH means conditions are favorable for tornadoes. Stay and have a shelter plan ready.

A Tornado WARNING means a tornado is occurring or about to occur. Take shelter immediately! You may only have seconds to act.

Do NOT call 911 for weather information or simply because you received a watch or warning alert!

911 must remain open for life-threatening emergencies. Keeping these lines clear ensures people who rely on 911 as a lifeline can get immediate police, fire, or medical assistance.

Remember to make sure Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) are enabled on your devices. These alerts can save lives!
