Each artisan will write her story and a message of inspiration to accompany the purses, and she’ll weave a hand-written personal dream into every handbag. But it’s more than that. We’ll also teach the women business and life skills curriculum to help them aspire to be entrepreneurial dreamers with hopes for a brighter future. We’re renewing lives. And recycling products. The handbags will be distributed and marketed with the talents of women who have returned to society after incarceration.
