Today, we are incredibly proud of our CEO, for receiving the Social Justice Impact Award at the 40th Annual Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards presented by and

The award honors volunteer leadership focused on advancing equity, dignity, and justice for underserved communities, values that are at the heart of ENP’s work every single day.

Even more fitting: the accompanying $1,000 grant is being directed straight back into the ENP FreeStore to help provide groceries, household essentials, and support for families across our community.

This recognition reflects what happens when a community chooses to show up for one another consistently, compassionately, and without conditions.

We’re grateful. And we’re not done.

Grateful for our long-standing partnership with Financial, who showed up in a meaningful way at the FreeStore yesterday. Their team jumped right in, organizing groceries, refreshing the home goods room, and bringing order to our storage space after a wave of donations.

Moments like this highlight the power of employee engagement. When companies create opportunities for their teams to serve, it strengthens both the workplace and the community. Their support made a real difference for our volunteers and ensured we were ready to serve this morning!

Huge thank you to Omega Pi for showing up in a real way, supporting families not just with words, but with what’s actually needed: safe sleep spaces, essential baby items, and resources that meet parents where they are.

There’s something powerful about watching people show up for a community they don’t even call home.

Recently, we welcomed students and staff from to the FreeStore, and they didn’t just volunteer… they leaned in. They asked questions. They listened. They worked alongside our team with care and intention.

That’s the thing about this work...food insecurity, economic instability...these aren’t abstract concepts. They’re lived realities. And when people choose to step into that space with humility, it matters.

To the Rollins team: thank you for being present, for serving with respect, and for recognizing that community impact is built with people, not for them.

And to our FreeStore team...week after week, you continue to create a space where dignity leads. I don’t take that lightly.

Today wasn’t just a bike giveaway. It was freedom on two wheels. It was independence wrapped in red and blue frames. It was grins so big they practically bent space-time.

You can see it in their faces, that split second where it clicks: This is mine. I can go.

Go faster. Go farther. Go explore. Go be a kid without limits.

In neighborhoods where access isn’t always guaranteed, a bike isn’t just a toy. It’s transportation. It’s confidence. It’s community. It’s the start of a hundred after-school adventures and summer evenings that stretch long and golden.

And let’s be honest, watching those smiles? That’s the real ROI. 🚲✨

Grateful for every partner, volunteer, and supporter who helps turn simple moments into life-shifting ones. This is what investing in kids looks like. This is what dignity looks like.

This year, there was a moment when we weren’t sure a Christmas FreeStore would even be possible.

What made it happen wasn’t certainty—it was people.

Thanks to volunteers from , a generous toy drive from , and the care and craftsmanship of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, neighbors were able to choose food, warm clothing, handmade winter items, and gifts with dignity.

I’m deeply grateful for our team, our volunteers, and the FreeStore family.

Because of this collective effort, 61 shoppers experienced a joyful Christmas.
