We’re thankful for the bravery of our firefighters.
Restored by Karen Goodlow Designs in 2015, Historic Fire Hall for Engine Co. 18 is now used for retail, work, and office space.
Built in 1930, Historic Fire Hall for Engine Co.18 served the NFD for over 50 years. After being sold it sat vacant and neglected for many years. In 2011 a fire nearly destroyed the building and a demolition order was given by codes. Now restored to it's former glory, The Station serves the community again as a multi-use building with retail and office space. The Station is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. A great memory from October 2016 when The Station first became reopened to the public after the very long renovation from Karen Goodlow Designs at The Station. In 2012 codes placed a demolition order on this historic landmark. It now proudly stands on the National Register of Historic Places - NPS thanks to the help of the folks at the Metro Nashville Historical Commission and the National Park Service. We love the Nashville Fire Department and hope this building will stand to honor them for many years to come.

We just received a wonderful gift from retired NFD captain George Russell. What a treasure.

We have outdoor space in front of the fire hall we would like to offer for use. We love: animal rescue organizations, non-profits working for a good cause, small local businesses, artists and creative people in our community...just to name a few.
Please reach out to us if you have something you'd like us to consider.

“Have You Seen Me?” My front says 1220 Gallatin Ave. My sides read “Fire Hall.” Someone took me. I’m a clearly labeled trash can. Please message my owners so if you know where I am. Thank you!
