🚨 MEMPHIS, ALL EYES ON CITY HALL TODAY.

Today, Memphis City Council is considering a proposed 12-month moratorium on new data center development, a decision raising important questions about environmental justice, public health, energy consumption, and community accountability.

For Memphis residents, the conversation is bigger than any single development.

Who benefits? Who bears the costs? And how are the people most directly impacted included in decisions about their neighborhoods?

At The Equity Alliance, we believe communities deserve to be informed, engaged, and heard when decisions are made that could shape their futures.

Because what happens at City Hall doesn’t stay at City Hall. It reaches our neighborhoods, our families, and our everyday lives.

Our communities deserve a seat at the table when decisions are made about the places we call home.
