🔹 Lock your doors and take the keys.
🔹 Remove fi****ms and other valuables.
🔹 Keep bags and electronics out of sight.
🔹 Double-check your windows.

Remember, even an empty bag can attract unwanted attention!

So far this year, 537 guns have been stolen from vehicles in Nashville with 17 taken from vehicles just last week. Stolen guns are routinely involved in criminal activities, such as carjackings and robberies.

A calm voice, a little patience and a willingness to listen can make all the difference.

When tensions rise, remember:

✔️ Stay calm and speak respectfully.
✔️ Give others personal space.
✔️ Listen before reacting.
✔️ Recognize when someone may be in crisis.
✔️ Know when to step away and seek help.

Our Partners in Care counselor, Ms. Vee, works alongside Central Precinct officers to bring a mental health perspective to public safety.

🚨 Sergeant Argeroplos is here to remind you to PARK SMART, NASHVILLE! 🚗

Beware of fake parking attendants downtown! Individuals may pose as parking employees, direct drivers into spaces and collect unauthorized fees.

✅ Look for official parking signs and posted rates.

✅ Pay only through verified kiosks, apps or posted QR codes.

✅ Never hand cash to someone without verified authorization.

✅ Don’t assume a reflective vest means someone works there.

✅ Save your parking receipt or confirmation.

⚠️ Remember: Paying an unauthorized individual doesn’t protect you from being ticketed or towed!

If something feels suspicious, avoid confrontation and find another place to park.

Central Precinct’s National Night Out was a great reminder that strong communities are built through connection, collaboration and trust.

A huge THANK YOU to Fifth + Broadway for hosting us, all of our incredible community partners and participants who helped make the event possible, and everyone who stopped by to meet our officers and join the fun!

🚔🏍️ First Responder Week fun! 💙

A big thank you to one of our downtown daycare partners for inviting Central Precinct and the MNPD Motors Unit to spend some time with their little ones!

The kids had a blast getting an up-close look at our police UTV and motorcycles—and we may have had just as much fun showing them around. 😊

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to build positive connections with our youngest community members and the wonderful people who care for them each day. Thank you for including us in your First Responder Week! 💙🚓
