At TriStar Horizon, we want to continue shining a light on our EMS partners because we are reminded every day that it truly takes all of us to serve our communities. EMS is at the forefront of that mission, providing critical pre-hospital care and serving as a vital link between emergencies and the hospital.
For more than 35 years, Tony Norfleet has dedicated his career to EMS. After retiring from Clarksville following 31 years of service, he continued his mission by joining First Call, where he now leads the teams serving Humphreys County.
Tony oversees a team of 18 full-time professionals and three ambulances, ensuring his community receives timely, high-quality care when it matters most. He takes great pride in the strong partnerships built with public safety agencies across Humphreys County because those relationships are essential to delivering care and earning the trust of the people they serve.
Tony also considers TriStar Horizon a key partner in that mission. Having access to nearby hospitals that can provide the care patients need is critical. His team relies on local facilities, air transport, TriStar Horizon, and TriStar Natchez ER to ensure patients receive timely care close to home. Because in an emergency, minutes matter.
We are grateful for partners like Tony and his team who show up every day with a shared commitment to keeping our communities safe and healthy.

β€οΈ June is CPR & AED Awareness Month β€οΈ
Knowing how to perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can help save a life during a cardiac emergency.
When cardiac arrest occurs, every second counts. Immediate CPR and early defibrillation can significantly improve a person's chance of survival.
Consider taking a CPR class, refreshing your skills, or learning where AEDs are located in your workplace, school, and community.
You never know when you may be someone's best chance at survival.

A big thank you to James Smart for taking time out of his busy day to help educate some future EMS professionals! π
James recently spent time showing these curious young visitors around the ambulance and teaching them about some of the important daily truck check-offs our crews complete to help keep units ready to respond. Opportunities like these are a great way to inspire the next generation while helping the community learn more about EMS and the work our providers do every day.
Thank you, James, for representing First Call Ambulance so well and taking the time to make a difference! π

Priority OnDemand is proud to join EMS agencies, healthcare partners, and communities across the country in celebrating National EMS Week, May 17-23, 2026. This yearβs national theme, βImproving Outcomes, Together,β recognizes the essential role emergency medical services professionals play in delivering lifesaving care, strengthening public health, and working collaboratively across the healthcare continuum.
For Priority OnDemand, the theme reflects both the companyβs mission and the people who make that mission possible every day. Across the Priority Ambulance family of companies, EMTs, paramedics, nurses, dispatchers, fleet teams, educators, support staff, and leaders work together to provide responsive, compassionate, and clinically focused care to patients and communities nationwide.
βEMS Week gives us an important opportunity to pause and thank the people who define who we are,β said Bryan Gibson, CEO of Priority OnDemand. βTo our field crews, dispatch teams, support teams, and leaders across the country, your work matters. Every call answered, every patient cared for, every vehicle maintained, every dispatch coordinated, and every team member supported has helped bring this company to where it is today. Our continued growth is a direct reflection of your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving others. I am incredibly proud of what we have built together, and I am even more excited about what is ahead for our company and for the future of EMS.β
