Nothing to see here...just a small, shirtless, barefooted child on a giant horse.
Davis Gorham Day Camp (1961-1987) was a summer camp for boys located in Nashville, TN. Davis Gorham was the brainchild of best friends Al Davis and John Gorham.
It was a camp that emphasized the fundamentals of various athletic activities such as archery, riflery, track & field, softball and swimming. Although the camp was primarily athletic, it was not competitive in nature*; rather, the learning situation of each sport was emphasized.
*with the exception of BATTLE BALL!
