Yesterday, Clerk Day and members of our Administration team had the honor of attending the 63rd Annual State of Metro Address, given by Mayor Freddie O'Connell.

It was a moment to recognize and reflect on the continued efforts of Metro employees and Nashville-Davidson County residents who continue to move our city forward each day.

📍Effective Immediately - Public Chapter 692 Signed by Governor Lee on April 14, 2026

Signed by Governor Lee on April 14, 2026, Public Chapter No. 692 entitles the Sheriff's Office and other persons authorized by law to serve executions to collect the fee provided for in T.C.A § 8-21-901 in advance of performance of such service. The service fee is in addition to the $25 post judgment clerk fee authorized by T.C.A. § 8-21-401(i)(1). Effective immediately, please be advised that payments for executions must include the service fee, the post-judgment clerk fee, and, if applicable, the additional fees. Please see the attached informational sheet for details and a breakdown of the fees.
