At Project Love Strong, we believe strong communities are built when people show up for one another. We’re proud to continue our efforts to address food insecurity and support the unhoused and underserved by hosting a FREE Taco Bowl Bar Community Lunch at the Nashville Public Library – Madison Branch on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
This event will provide free meals, snacks, and personal essentials to individuals and families in our community while creating a welcoming space centered on dignity, compassion, and connection.
Volunteer opportunities are also available for those who want to make a direct impact through community service.
Food insecurity affects countless individuals across our city, and meaningful outreach requires partnership, consistency, and heart. We’re grateful for every volunteer, supporter, and community member helping us continue this mission.

Project Love Strong’s May 2026 Newsletter is here. 💚
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m reminded that healing often begins with being seen, heard, and supported. Mental health challenges are deeply connected to housing instability, trauma, poverty, and isolation — and social workers are often the bridge between survival and stability, stepping into spaces where pain and hopelessness feel too heavy to carry alone.
As an MSW and founder of Project Love Strong, I believe real impact begins when people are seen beyond their circumstances. That belief continues to fuel our commitment to serving unhoused and underserved neighbors with dignity, empathy, compassion, and unwavering love.
A note from our founder: Jeshiqua White, MSW ❤️
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the importance of healing, creativity, compassion, and community connection. We’re also sharing updates on our outreach efforts, upcoming events, and the continued work being done to support unhoused and underserved individuals throughout our community.
Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, and community partner helping us turn compassion into action. Healing happens through community.
