Did you know that U.S. News & World Report ranked Purpose Prep the #1 Charter Elementary School in Tennessee and the #7 Elementary School in Davidson County in 2026? πŸ†πŸ’™πŸ“šπŸ’›πŸ₯‡

High schools and colleges have long been ranked by U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized source for rankings and data, and the organization has recently expanded its rankings to recognize top-performing elementary schools across the country. Hume-Fogg and MLK rank among the top 100 high schools in the nation, making Nashville home to two nationally recognized high schools. We’re proud to be recognized among the best!

This recognition highlights the impact of our 2-teacher model and 16:1 student-to-teacher ratio, which allow us to provide scholars with more individualized instruction, support, and opportunities to thrive.

We’re incredibly proud of our scholars, educators, families, and the entire Purpose Prep community! See the U.S. News rankings using the .

Back to School Night at Purpose Preparatory Academy gives family reunion vibes! At our Legacy of Purpose Gala, celebrated 13 years in the making!

We brought together educators, families, civic leaders, and community champions to honor our founding kindergarten class as they prepare to become Purpose Prep’s first-ever graduating seniors.

We heard from alumni who started this journey as five-year-olds. We welcomed back who spoke at their elementary graduation. We honored the people and partners who helped build this legacy. And we were surprised by hometown hero with a scholarship announcement for our scholars.

From a vision on paper to Tennessee’s #1 charter school. From kindergarten dreams to cap-and-gown realities.

This is the Legacy of Purpose.
