Currency Handling Tip: Count money with two people present and document it on a currency count sheet.
Day 4
🔹 Biohazard Reminder: Always double-bag biological evidence and store it in the designated area.
Drug Evidence Handling: Refrain from using staples on narcotics packaging. Instead, utilize approved heat-seals or evidence tape.
Day 3
🔹 Chain of Custody Tip: Document every transfer the moment it happens—not at the end of the shift.
Do any agencies that submit forfeiture warrants for narcotics proceeds, (vehicles, moneys etc.) seizures include fi****ms, especially if the offender is a convicted felon? Or do you wait for the outcome of the case/judgement to include forfeiture? Just trying to look for a way to expedite the process of disposal. Thank you. Brian Jones
Day 2
🔹 Storage Tip: Separate fi****ms, drugs, currency, and biohazards. Mixed storage = preventable risk.
