The Eberling Foundation has pledged to match up to $2,000 in donations for this very worthy cause. So far, we have raised $480 that the Eberling Foundation will match! We still have $$$$ to go! Thank you to those who made smaller donations with big hearts! Penny appreciates every generous gift to help her stay safe from her abuser, the man who tried to murder her, but DID murder her best friend.

Susan has dedicated her life to advocating for those impacted by violent crime, walking alongside some of the most critical cases in the system. She was doing this heart work well before she became a victim herself. In the moment of her victimization, Susan's world changed forever. Here is her story.

We stand with those impacted by mass violence. If you are the victim of any mass violence event and live in the Middle Tennessee area, please contact The Heart House for services and support. All services are free and are designed for both direct and indirect victims of these events.

We are grateful for fellow advocates and agencies who engage in this work tirelessly everyday. The agencies listed here as well as the local FBI office in Nashville consistently take leadership roles in planning and implementing these type of community events.

He will get out soon which is really incredible knowing that he hacked to death Penny's best friend and tried to Hack Penny to death that awful day.
