Congratulations are in order for Charlotte Fleming who was sworn in as the new Special Master of the Third Circuit Court this morning! She is highly qualified to step into this role and will serve Davidson County and its families well. She brings exceptional experience to the Court from her having practiced family law since 1987 which includes a thriving mediation practice, in addition to serving as Assistant Juvenile Judge and Assistant for the City Judge in Robertson County and Springfield Tennessee, respectively. Welcome to the Davidson County Domestic Court Team, Charlotte!

Thanks to the incredible work of Special Master Kristen Menke in conducting JSCs, we have newly available trial dates this month. February 10th and 11th are now open for trials for any cases that have already had a Motion to Set granted. Email [email protected] to secure these dates on a first come, first served basis!

Happy Groundhog Day! In our latest newsletter we added some stakes to Punxsutawney Phil's prediction.
Attorneys, it paid off. The Groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter and in consolation, we promised you all that there would be no timers used on this Friday's Motion Docket.
We are staying true to our word so enjoy the freedom this week--and read the newsletter at the link in our bio!

Our regular Friday Motion Docket will proceed as normal tomorrow, 1/30. However, due to the number of people in our city who are still impacted by this weather, any continuance requests will automatically be granted. Please stay safe and stay warm!

INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE: The Historic Metro Courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 26th. The 4th Circuit Staff will be working remotely.
All cases set on the 1:30 Child Support Docket will be continued.
All Order of Protection cases for both Monday and Tuesday have been continued.
