through rehabilitation services, outpatient
treatment, homeless outreach, supported housing,
employment services, and more. From two main service locations and more than 25
Nashville-area housing properties, Park Center’s 100
+ team members help individuals reclaim hope,

What a night, Nashville! 💛⚽

A massive thank you to Nashville SC Community for honoring Park Center as their Section 615 recipient at last week’s match against Sporting Kansas City!
Section 615 is a special section at GEODIS Park dedicated to Nashville community members doing good work in and around Music City. 🎶 Our team was proud to be recognized.

30 of our staff and members joined in the fun, and for many of them, it was their first match ever. Seeing their faces light up in the stands is something we won’t forget. 🙌

Thank you for shining a light on the work Park Center does and for giving our people such a special evening.

Meet Cassandra. 💙
Over the past few weeks we’ve shared the fun of Celebration of Courage. Today we want to show you what it’s really about.

👇 Read a small piece of Cassandra’s story below:

“My name is Cassandra Hall. I was diagnosed with a mental illness at age 9, started using drugs at 12, and aged out of foster care at 18 with no one to lean on. For years I lived on the streets of Nashville, caught in addiction and crime. When I faced going back to prison, I took a chance on a court program, and later I found Park Center. I applied, got accepted, and haven’t looked back. Today I have my benefits, my mental health care, and a 5-year-old son. Is everything perfect? No. But having people in your corner makes the sky the limit. Thank you, Park Center.”

Cassandra is one of hundreds of members Park Center supports every year, and your support is what makes stories like hers possible. When you show up, you’re giving hope to the hundreds of Cassandras in our community.

A huge thank you to Meagan and the Neighborhood Patient Advocacy Federation group at Vanderbilt who put together and delivered first aid kits for Park Center, for multiple years in a row at this point.

These kits will go directly to our members living on the streets, giving them essential supplies to help them stay safe while we work to get them into housing. 🏠

You are quite literally saving lives, and we can’t thank you enough. 🙏

Everything you were already excited about is still on, and we’ve added some Halloween magic to make this the most fun morning of the year!

Here’s what’s still happening and what's new:
🏆 Kids Costume Contest - with prizes for the best dressed!
🍬 Trick or Treat on the Walk Course - volunteers will be stationed along the route handing out candy, so don’t forget the Halloween bags!
🏃 Competitive 1-Mile Run - still happening!
🚶 Family Fun Walk - perfect for all ages and all costumes!
🎤 Inspiring Stories of Triumph - straight from Park Center members and staff

Dress up isn't just for the kids, we encourage all the Halloween Lovers in attendance to dress up and show out!

Due to Hurricane Isaias, we’ve made the decision to postpone our October 11th event. But we’re turning those lemons into lemonade in the BEST way possible. 🍋💜

Park Center is so incredibly grateful today. We are thrilled and humbled to announce that Bank of America Charitable Foundation has awarded Park Center a $20,000 community grant! 🎉

This gift will go directly to expanding our homeless outreach services, meeting people where they are, connecting them to the resources they need, and breaking down the barriers that stand between them and safe, stable housing. Because everyone deserves a home. Full stop.
