A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO RICKY BANKS & TEAM SOUTH SIZZLE!
Today was another beautiful reminder that our community truly cares about the men and women who serve and protect it!
Sheriff Travis Patten and the entire Adams County Sheriff’s Office Family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Ricky Banks and the entire Team South Sizzle crew for taking time out of their busy day to bring their food trailer to the Sheriff’s Office and provide a delicious, hearty meal for our entire ACSO Family!
What makes this gesture even more special is the thoughtfulness behind it.
Mr. Banks realized that during our recent National Night Out event, many of our deputies and staff members were so busy working, serving, and making sure everyone else was taken care of that they never had an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal themselves.
Well, Mr. Banks didn’t forget about them!
Instead, he decided to do something specifically for the hardworking men and women of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. He wanted to make sure that the very people who spend so much of their time taking care of others had an opportunity to be taken care of themselves.
And today, that’s exactly what he did!
Words cannot adequately express how much this thoughtful act of kindness meant to our deputies, detention officers, administrative personnel, and every member of our ACSO Family who had the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful meal.
Sometimes, it’s not just about the food. It’s about knowing that someone sees your sacrifices, appreciates your service, and cares enough to show it through their actions.
Our employees work long hours, miss family gatherings, sacrifice personal time, and answer the call whenever our community needs them. To have someone recognize those sacrifices and go out of their way to honor them means more than words could ever describe.
Mr. Banks, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, thoughtfulness, and most importantly, for reminding our ACSO Family that their hard work does not go unnoticed.
To the entire Team South Sizzle crew, we appreciate every minute of your time, every plate you prepared, and the love you poured into making today special for our staff.
You didn’t just feed our employees today. You lifted their spirits, warmed their hearts, and reminded them that this community stands behind them.
We are truly blessed to serve a community filled with people who have hearts like yours!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Sheriff Travis Patten & the Entire Adams County Sheriff’s Office Family 💪🏾💪💪🏻
