🚒🔥 **Station 9 Responds to Brush Fire**

On September 18, Station 9 was dispatched to a brush fire on Peaks Trail in Nathalie. The fire was started by lightning, but thankfully our crew was able to get it knocked down pretty quickly.

This is why we love what we do — getting out there, protecting our environment, and helping keep our community safe. ❤️‍🔥🌲

We’re proud to serve our community and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference when it matters most.

What a day! Yesterday, September 12, North Halifax Volunteer Fire Department held our Annual Marathon Fundraiser, and we cannot thank everyone enough for coming out and supporting us — especially despite the weather! 🌧️

A HUGE thank you goes out to all of our NHVFD volunteers, the North Halifax Ladies Auxiliary, and non-member volunteers who worked countless hours preparing for the event, cooking, setting up, serving, cleaning up, and making sure everything came together. We truly could not do this without you!

Thank you to all of the vendors who came out and set up, our wonderful entertainers, including KD Country Radio, who kept the day going with great live music and entertainment, and everyone who traveled from near and far to show your support. It was so good to see so many new and familiar faces come out to support our fire department and our community! ❤️

We hope everyone enjoyed the delicious BBQ and fried chicken plates, hot dogs with all the fixin’s, desserts, drinks, and live entertainment throughout the day! 🌭🍗🍰🎶

Most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who made a donation and helped support NHVFD. Your generosity means so much to us. Our fire department depends on donations and fundraising efforts to continue to operate, function, and be there when our community needs us most. Every donation, purchase, volunteer hour, and word of support makes a difference.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

🚒🔥🚑 WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN NHVFD! 🚒🔥🚑

If you’re interested in becoming part of the NHVFD family, send us a message or stop by the fire department to pick up an application. We’d love to have you!

Thank you for supporting North Halifax Volunteer Fire Department!

❤️🚒 Your support helps us continue to serve our community. 🚒❤️

A huge thank you to Full Moon Services for supporting our fire department! 🚒❤️

They were kind enough to let us borrow a piece of equipment so our firefighters could take care of some much-needed housekeeping and maintenance around the fire department.

It means a lot to have a businesses willing to support our community and our firefighters.
Your generosity helps us keep our station in good shape and allows us to better serve the community when you need us most.

Thank you, for helping support our department and our community! We truly appreciate you! 🇺🇸 🚒
