Field Trip! What a beautiful day for our participants to visit Unity Farms Sanctuary in Sherborne. We learned about the rescued animals and discovered how kindness, compassion, and community are at the heart of the sanctuary. What a fun day!

Crafts with Kelley the Cop is always a huge hit! Needham Police Officer, Kelley Scolponeti, joined our participants to create a fun Halloween project, and there were lots of smiles, laughter, and fun! We’re so grateful for the creativity and connection she brings to our community. Thanks Kelley!

Our newly renovated room is open!! Our LaBlast Cardio Dance class was the first to break it in, and everyone loved the new space!

The Friends Board of Directors had a great time participating in the October Harvest Fair at Greene’s field this past weekend. Many people, of all ages, stopped by the Friends’ booth to learn about the Council on Aging and the role of the Friends at the Needham Senior Center. The Harvest Fair is a cherished Needham tradition.

Many thanks to Avenue Church who served our participants breakfast and lunch. No easy task as our kitchen is still under renovations. They brought their grills and fed a lot of people today. We are grateful for their dedication and generosity!
