Needham MA VFW Post 2498

🇺🇸 THANK YOU, NEEDHAM & OUR SPONSORS!

What a special day at VFW Post 2498!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday to dedicate our Post kitchen in honor of Lennie Hamilton, a longtime Needham Police Officer and a dear, longtime friend of our Post and its veterans. Lennie gave so much of his time and himself to our VFW family, and it was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate his memory and recognize the lasting impact he made.

A very special thank you to Barrielynn Wise, Lennie’s daughter, who organized the dedication and brought everyone together for such a meaningful tribute. We are grateful for the time, care, and thought she put into making this day happen.

We also want to thank the Mass Ave Band for providing great entertainment and helping make the afternoon so enjoyable for everyone!

Most of all, we are grateful for the generosity, encouragement, and continued support we receive from our neighbors, local businesses, volunteers, and friends. Your support helps us honor those who have served, strengthen our Post for the future, and create opportunities for our community to come together.

Our Post is more than a place for veterans. It’s a place for community. Days like this remind us just how much that community means.

From all of us at VFW Post 2498, thank you for being part of it. ❤️🇺🇸

It was a busy weekend for the veterans of VFW Manson Carter Post 2498!

On Saturday the Post was invited once again to present the colors on the field at St Sebastian’s home football game. Commander Dave Remsen led his squad for the ceremony.🇺🇸

Today our veterans and members of our Auxiliary greeted members of the community at Needham’s Harvest Fair.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and learn more about our organization! 🍂🍁🍃🌞
