MOVE OVER OR SLOW DOWN DAY

Fox Crossing PD, FD, and all of our colleagues that help to provide public safety services on our roadways want to remind drivers to move over or slow down.

Motorists are required to move over to the farthest lane or slow down when there is an emergency or roadside service vehicle stopped on the side of a roadway. The law recently expanded to include stranded motorists.

It is common for the Village of Fox Crossing, WI Dept. of Natural Resources, and the City of Menasha to receive calls for possible unlawful discharging of fi****ms on Little Lake Butte des Morts during the hunting season, but it is legal in many areas on the lake. This map should serve as a guide to show the areas that are prohibited.
