🚢 Field Trip Alert: Maritime History & Mountain Views in Astoria! 🗼

We kicked off our Field Trips with the first one being a full day of coastal history and panoramic views at two of Astoria’s most iconic landmarks!
First stop: the Columbia River Maritime Museum. We'll get to experience what it's like to pilot a tugboat, learn about the graveyard of the Pacific, and actually step aboard the historic Lightship Columbia floating right out front.
Right between exploring the high seas and climbing high into the clouds, we are stopping off for a brief lunch break at Tapiola Park!
Last, we are heading high above the city to the Astoria Column! Those brave enough to climb the 164-step spiral staircase will be rewarded with a breathtaking, 360-degree view of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean.
