HERE’S WHAT I WANT TO DO FOR YOU!

If elected Cass County Treasurer, I want to make your experience with our office easier, more efficient, and more pleasant.

📌 Increase accessibility.

Explore extended hours, additional payment options, and more convenient ways to serve Cass County residents.

📌 Improve efficiency.

Reduce wait times, streamline processes, and make everyday transactions easier.

📌 Encourage teamwork.

Cross-training means more knowledgeable employees and more hands available when things get busy.

📌 Boost office morale.

Happy employees make for a happier workplace, and that positive attitude carries over to the customers we serve!

📌 Prioritize A+ customer service.

Every person who walks through our doors deserves to feel welcomed, acknowledged, and heard.

📌 Keep looking for ways to improve.

Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean there isn’t a better way!

After seven years behind the counter, I’ve seen what works and where there’s room for improvement.

I’m not promising overnight changes. But I am promising to show up, listen, put in the work, and always look for ways to better serve you.

Question: What would you like to change about your experiences in the treasurers office?

10/08/2026

I’ve always been a reader, so maybe this is the best way I know how to put it:

I can be the villain in someone else’s story.

People are entitled to tell their version. What I won’t do is respond by digging through someone else’s personal life looking for difficult, embarrassing, or painful chapters to post on Facebook—or have others do it for me—in an attempt to make myself look better.

I don’t need to.

If anyone has questions about my past, my decisions, or circumstances in my personal life, you are always welcome to ask me directly. I’m not afraid to have an honest conversation.

I’m not ashamed of having a life story that includes hard chapters.

Some of them changed me. Some humbled me. Some taught me lessons the hard way. And some I’m simply glad are behind me.

But they’re mine. I own them.

This campaign has been a chapter of its own—one that has challenged me, stretched me, and at times exhausted me. And with 27 days left, this chapter is almost at its end.

Whatever is written on the next page, I’m ready for it.

Until then, I’m going to keep doing what I’ve done from the beginning: talking about my experience, my ideas, and the kind of Treasurer I want to be.

Because I don’t need to tear somebody else down to tell you who I am.

I’d rather keep writing my own story.

****I got a “Mom, take the picture down!” text. So if you would like to see what a villain looks like, take a look at my profile picture! 🧙‍♀️ ☠️ 🍎 🐦‍⬛

29 DAYS! 🗳️❤️

And today, it gets REAL.

In-person early voting begins today, which means people are officially walking in, filling in those little ovals, and casting their ballots.

I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to the fact that my name is actually on one of them. 🥹

For months, November 3rd has felt so far away. There have been signs, posts, conversations, events, nerves, excitement, and a whole lot of stepping outside my comfort zone.

And now we’re here.

29 days to Election Day — but voting has already begun.

So I’m asking for your help.

If you believe in what we’re building, I’m asking for your vote. And if you’ve already decided to support me, please don’t keep it quiet. Tell a friend. Text your neighbors. Share this post. Put out a sign. Remind the people in your life to vote.

Every conversation matters. Every share matters. And now, every single vote matters.

Whether you vote today, vote early sometime this month, or head to the polls on November 3rd, make a plan and make your voice heard.

Signs are wonderful. Shares and words of encouragement mean more than you know.

But those little filled-in ovals?

Those are the ones that count. ❤️🗳️

I’d be honored to earn your vote.

Here we go, Cass County. 29 days!

What a glorious autumn day!

Nine-ish months ago this whole running for treasurer thing, felt like a pipe dream. Today, it feels surreal. Somewhere along the way, something I barely dared to imagine became my reality.

I was just working behind the counter at the Treasurer's Office, wondering whether I had the courage to step outside my comfort zone and try something that genuinely scared me.
And now?

My name is on an actual ballot. People are voting. And today, someone took a moment out of their day to tell me they'd voted for me.

I don't think I ever really pictured this part. For months, everything has been about preparing, planning, worrying, second-guessing, and wondering what November 3 might bring.

But suddenly, this thing that once felt so far-fetched is actually happening.
It's surreal. It's exciting. It's a little terrifying. And it's incredibly humbling.

I don't know what November 3 will bring. Of course, I have hopes. Big ones.
But I do know that nine months ago, I took a chance on myself. I stepped outside my comfort zone, put myself out there, and pursued something I genuinely wanted.

And somewhere along the way, that fever dream became real. Whatever happens next, I'm proud that I was brave enough to try. ❤️

On another note:

Now is a great time to make sure you're registered to vote and that your information is up to date!
Make your voice heard and your choices known!

Yard signs are a great way to show support, but casting your ballot is what really counts!

Check your voter registration, know your polling place, and make a plan to vote on November 3.

34 more days.

Or, as my typo so accurately put it: 34 more doses. 😂

Doses of campaigning. Doses of signs. Doses of nerves, Facebook, overthinking, and wondering what tomorrow will bring.

So I figure we might as well make them 34 more doses of Autumn. 🍂😂

We’re officially in the home stretch, which means it’s time for one last sign push!

🍂 Need a sign?
🍂 Have one that needs replaced?
🍂 Know of a spot where one would be welcome?

Send me a message and we’ll get it taken care of.

I’m tired. I’m excited. I’m nervous. But more than anything, I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has put a sign in their yard, helped deliver one, shared a post, donated, volunteered, or simply reminded me to keep going.

For the next 34 days, I’m putting my head down, doing the work, and finishing this campaign the same way I started it — as myself.

34 more days.
34 more doses of Autumn. 🍂
Let’s finish what we started.

The time has come.
MY time has come. 🍁🍂

While some of you have been clinging to summer like it hasn’t overstayed its welcome, I have been patiently waiting.

For crisp mornings.
Open windows.
Sweatshirts.
Changing leaves.
Soup season.
Pumpkin everything.
And the glorious end of walking outside and immediately sweating.

Autumn has officially arrived. 🍁
It’s Autumn season, people.

And in the completely non-scientific ranking of seasons, my vote is FALL.

The superior season.
I will not be taking questions at this time. 😂

Happy first day of fall, friends. 🍂
