A first in the history of our department tonight. You all have seen the posts about all of our team feeds, well tonight was something different but the same.
We welcomed the Volleyball Lady Bulldogs to the station for a feed. BOX 5 serves all of Athens County so we thought we would get them ready to head into tournament play.
Great bunch of ladies led by 2 wonderful down to earth coaches. GOOD LUCK LADIES and remember, we only cheer against you 2 times a year, the rest of the year we support all of you!!!
You will see more of these feeds as we reach out over time the same way we do with BOX 5.

Who will walk away with the outright TVC CHAMPIONSHIP, don’t miss the GAME OF THE YEAR

Shout out to the crew that went out to Waterloo Twp tonight with our drone to help look for a lost elderly man. Pilot Evan Dishong was able to use the inferred attachment to find the gentleman from his body heat and was able to send a firefighter right to the man’s location.
This drone in worth its weight in gold, the amount of ground that Evan can cover in such a short time is incredible and with the heat sensor, the light, and the speaker it truly is a very valuable asset to our list of tools that we use to provide every service possible that we can to our tax payers and our communities.

Congrats Evan and team along with all of those from
Waterloo FD that did a great job tonight.
