2026 Netcong Recreation Lantern Festival. Thank you Andrew Mandbach for the amazing drone footage!

10/04/2026

✨ A beautiful evening filled with love, light, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for Netcong’s Lantern Fest! Seeing families together, friends connecting, and lanterns glowing on the lake made the night so special. 💛

We know the wait to release lanterns was longer than some expected, and we appreciate your patience. Our volunteer team poured so much heart into this evening, and we’ll carry what we learned into planning the next one. We hope you found moments to relax, enjoy the music and food, and make memories by the water. 🏮

An evening like this takes so many helping hands, and we are incredibly grateful to:

❤️ Mayor Still and the Borough Council for supporting our community events.
❤️ Our DPW, Police Department, ambulance squad, and Fire Department for their hard work and support.
❤️ Jen Meehan, Cindy Eckert, Ralph Blakeslee, and everyone at Town Hall who helped behind the scenes.
❤️ Mark Sylvester for his guidance in helping us make this event possible.
❤️ John Parks for hanging the lights at the park and helping create such a warm, magical atmosphere for the evening.
❤️ Bob Hathaway for helping with cleanup and making sure we left our lake even more beautiful than we found it.
❤️ DJ Jozay for keeping the music, energy, and good vibes going throughout the night.
❤️ Our food trucks, vendors, and everyone who supported the evening.
❤️ Our Recreation team and every volunteer who gave their time to plan, set up, help families, and clean up afterward.
❤️ Our neighbors and residents for supporting the events that bring our town together.

And to everyone who bought a lantern, shared a wish, or simply came to enjoy the evening—thank you for being part of it. You helped fill our little town with light. ✨

Share your pictures using so we can see the evening through your eyes!

See you in 2027! 💛🏮
