🇺🇸 25 YEARS LATER — WE REMEMBER. 🇺🇸

Today, the members of Netcong Hilltop Fire Company No. 2 pause to remember September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders who answered the call in our nation’s darkest hour.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and all those who ran toward the danger while others were trying to escape it. We remember the lives lost that day, and the many first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in the days, weeks, and years that followed.

We also honor the courage and brotherhood that was displayed by first responders from across the country who came together to help — putting service above self and answering a call that none of them could have imagined.

As firefighters, we carry their memory with us every time we put on our gear, climb aboard our apparatus, and respond to someone in need.

25 years later, we still remember.
We still honor.
We will never forget.

Proud to announce our successful day at the annual Boonton Labor Day Parade. After the countless hours our members put in over the past two weeks getting Engine 2 ready for judging, all that hard work paid off! The pride and dedication our members have for this Department was on full display today.

We are proud to bring home the following trophies:

🥇 1st Place – Engine 2
3 Months to 5 Years

🥈 2nd Place – Color Guard

🥇 1st Place – Marching – Over 20 Men, Without Music

🏆🔥 BEST OVERALL FIRE COMPANY – WITHOUT MUSIC! 🔥🏆

A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who spent the last two weeks cleaning, polishing, detailing, and preparing Engine 2 for judging, as well as everyone who came out today, marched and represented the Netcong Fire Department with pride.

It was an amazing day with an amazing group of members. This is what being part of a volunteer fire company is all about — hard work, brotherhood, tradition, and pride in our company and our community.

🚒What a way to spend Labor Day!
